System summary widget
Three stat slots. The medium size adds a chart to each slot and an optional network row.
Point at a chart to see a past reading, or at a disk to see its used and total size.
Sizes: Small, Medium.
Works with
This MachineThe host Stackyard runs onNothing
- Temperature
- Needs
/sys/class/thermalmounted into the container. - Disk
- Needs each mount path mounted into the container.
See Host mounts below.
GlancesSystem monitorURL, login if set
- Glances URL
- For example
glances:61208. - Username
- Optional.
- Password
- Optional. Stored as a secret.
Glances in Docker reports its own filesystems, not the host ones. Mount the host paths into the Glances container for a disk slot to read them.
BeszelServer monitorURL, login, system
- Beszel URL
- For example
beszel:8090. - Account
- The Beszel login email.
- Password
- Stored as a secret.
- System
- Enter the URL and account, then load the systems and pick one.
Beszel does not report a process count.
UnraidNAS operating systemURL, API key
- Unraid URL
- For example
tower.local. - Unraid API Key
- Stored as a secret.
Unraid reports neither IO wait nor a process count.
ProxmoxVirtualization serverURL, API token
- Proxmox URL
- For example
https://pve.local:8006. An address withouthttps://gets it. - Token ID
- For example
stackyard@pve!dashboard. Give the token the PVEAuditor role. - Token Secret
- Stored as a secret.
- Allow Self-Signed Certificate
- Turn on for the certificate Proxmox installs by default.
- Node
- Load the list and pick one. Leave empty on a server with one node.
Proxmox reports neither temperature nor a process count. A Disk slot reads a storage ID, or the root filesystem when empty.
Settings
- SourceWhich of the above to read. Defaults to This Machine.
- Update Every5 s, 10 s, 30 s or 1 min. Defaults to 10 s. A remote source may update less often than this.
- Link URLWhere clicking the widget opens. Beszel opens the system page under it. Leave blank to use the service address, if your browser can reach it.Optional
Host mounts
Section titled “Host mounts”This Machine reads temperature and disk use from paths mounted into the Stackyard container:
volumes: - /sys/class/thermal:/sys/class/thermal:ro - /mnt/your-drive:/mnt/your-drive:roThe widget always shows three slots.
Settings for each slot
- ResourceCPU, RAM, Temperature, Disk Mount, IO Wait or Processes.
- Thermal Zone or SensorTemperature only. A thermal zone number for This Machine, 0 by default. A sensor picked from the loaded list for the other sources.
- First and second diskDisk Mount only. Mount paths for This Machine and Glances, filesystem names for Beszel, share names for Unraid, storage IDs such as
local-lvmfor Proxmox. The second is optional. An empty Unraid share reads the whole array. - ColorThe slot colour. Defaults to blue.
Network row
Section titled “Network row”Medium size only.
Network row settings
- Show Network RowOff by default.
- ModeSpeed shows the last speed test. Throughput shows live traffic on one interface, except for Proxmox. Uptime shows uptime.
- InterfaceThroughput only, for Glances, Beszel and Unraid. Load the list, then pick one.
Speed mode works with
MySpeedSpeed test trackerURL, password if set
- Service URL
- For example
myspeed:5216. - MySpeed Password
- Optional. Stored as a secret.
Speedtest TrackerSpeed test trackerURL, API token if used
- Service URL
- The Speedtest Tracker address.
- API Token
- Optional. Needs the
results:readability. Stored as a secret.
Without a token, the widget reads an older route that needs no authentication. With one, it reads the documented v1 API.
